Stacey Amdur has degrees in Early Childhood Education and Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. She taught elementary school for several years before becoming a stay-at-home mom. She has remained active in her field by continuing to teach writing, book clubs, and mindfulness in local public schools on a volunteer basis over the last 13 years.
In 2018, she earned certification in the Aroma Freedom Technique. She leads individuals and groups through this process, in order to show them a path for self-healing. In 2019, Stacey became a certified Yoginos: Yoga for Youth Instructor.
Stacey leads a teen mindfulness group, called Friday with Friends, at The Yoga Institute Clear Lake on the fourth Friday of each month.
Her mission is to empower young people, and their adults, to lead their best lives, find what makes them happy, and pay it forward.
